A little about myself...

 I have been working with food since I was six years old. I basically grew up in the kitchen and can recall fond memories of working along side my grandmother and mother on holiday meals. I started out as all do in this business with simple prep like tearing the bread for stuffing the Holiday turkey (after-all at the time I was limited by small hands). However as I grew up so did my responsibilities as well as my experience and repertoire. It is this life long passion for food and family that I bring to you. 

I graduated from Lansing community college, Hospitality Management Food services program. While finishing my degree I also team taught the Eaton Intermediate School District HMFS program. (I taught the college curriculum to High school Jr's. and Sr's. under a dual enrollment program) I then moved to Charleston S.C. for eight years, studying the food culture of the southeast. This also included a brief stint in Hilton Head Island, S.C. as well as many education trips to Savannah, Ga., Myrtle Beach S.C. and Jacksonville Fla. After eight great years along the southeastern shore I have returned to Michigan .

Food is a huge part of our culture. I bring the social aspect of dining back to its roots. Anyone can eat; my goal is provide a DINING experience. Food should make you feel as welcome and relaxed as it tastes delicious! I prefer to create each menu independently from any other. And I welcome your hands-on in creating that special occasion.
